2022년, 인도의 나갈랜드주 명문 학교들은 전통적 학습과 인공지능(AI)을 통합하는 혁신적인 도약으로 '미래 교육 프로그램'을 도입했다. 이 선구적인 이니셔티브는 단순한 교육을 넘어 자기 발견의 여정이며, 제4차 산업 혁명의 발전과 어우러진 미래를 준비하는 과정이다.

아우라 유니브(Aura Univ)의 박병기 교수가 고안해낸 이 프로그램은 두 가지 핵심 과정을 중심으로 구성되어 있다. 첫 번째 과정인 '미래 저널'은 개인의 영혼의 깊은 곳을 탐구하는 반성적 과정으로, 자기 지식을 향상시키고 개인적 의지를 이해하며, 잠재력을 인식하고 타인과의 관계를 개선하는 데 목적이 있다.

두 번째 구성 요소인 지정의(IEV) 학습은 인간 고유의 독창성과 창의력을 계발하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 지성(Intellect), 감정(Emotion), 의지(Volition)의 약자인 IEV는 통찰력, 판단력 및 깨달음을 촉진하여 개인의 최고를 이끌어내는 방법이다.

인도에서 처음 도입된 과정은 10주간의 '미래 저널' 프로그램이었다. 아우라 유니브(Aura Univ)와의 양해각서(MOU) 체결 후, 이 프로그램은 전국의 다양한 학교와 기관에서 소개될 수 있게 되었다. 아우라 유니브(Aura Univ)의 지도 하에 훈련된 촉진 교사(Facilitator Teachers, FT)들이 베세 텟세오의 감독 하에 수업 내용을 전달했다.

2023년 11월 28일, 인도 나갈란드 코히마에 위치한 G.Rio School에서 중요한 이정표를 달성했다. 인도 중앙 학교 교육 위원회(CBSE)와 제휴된 이 학교는 316명의 학생들이 '미래 저널' 과정을 성공적으로 마친 것을 기념하는 수료증 수여식을 가졌다. 학생들은 창의적 발전, 자기 인식, 대인 관계에 대한 프로그램의 영향을 긍정적으로 평가했다. 또한, 이 프로그램이 자신의 삶의 의미에 대해 더 깊이 생각하고 미래에 대한 긍정적인 전망을 개발하는 데 도움이 되었다고 밝혔다.

인도에서 '미래 교육 프로그램'의 인기가 높아지고 있으며, 최근 아루나찰 프라데시 주에서 촉진 교사 훈련을 마쳤다. 이 프로그램을 인도의 다양한 주에 소개할 계획이 진행 중으로, 국내외에서의 성장 잠재력을 강하게 믿고 있다. 모든 연령대에 적용 가능한 이 프로그램은 전 세계 교육 분야에서 희망과 진보의 등대로 자리매김하고 있다.

FUTURE EDUCATION PROGRAM IN INDIA, 2023

In an innovative leap towards integrating Artificial Intelligence(AI) with traditional learning, India embraced the Future Education program in 2022, which has since been met with considerable enthusiasm. This pioneering initiative offers more than just education; it is a journey into self-discovery and preparing for a future intertwined with the advancements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Conceived by Dr. Byung Kee Park, the program is structured around two core processes. The first, termed the Future Journal, delves into the depths of one’s soul. It is a reflective process aimed at enhancing self-knowledge, understanding personal will, recognizing potential, and fostering better relationships with others. The IEV study's second component focuses on cultivating human uniqueness and creativity. IEV, an acronym for Intellect, Emotion, and Volition, is a method that encourages insight, discernment, and enlightenment, drawing out the best from the individuals.

The first course to be rolled out in India was the 10-week Future Journal program. Following a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Aura Univ, this program can now be introduced nationwide in various schools and organizations. Facilitator teachers (FT), trained under the auspices of Aura Univ and overseen by Dr. Vese Tetseo, deliver the course content.

A milestone was recently achieved on November 28th, 2023, at the G.Rio School in Kohima, Nagaland. The school, renowned for its affiliation with the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) in India, celebrated the successful completion of the Future Journal course by 316 students. The distribution of certificates marked the course completion ceremony. Feedback from the students was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the program's impact on their creative development, self-awareness, and interpersonal relationships. Moreover, students noted the program's role in fostering a deeper understanding of life's purpose and cultivating a positive outlook for their future.

The Future Education program's growing popularity in India is evident with recent expansions, including facilitator-teacher training in Arunachal Pradesh. Plans are underway to introduce the program in various other Indian states, reflecting a strong belief in its potential for national and global growth. This program, applicable to all age groups, is a beacon of hope and progress in the global education landscape.
