NJT: Hello. I am here with officials of Sunny Wavetech, which made the world's first TV Platform Service For Dogs. Could you briefly introduce yourselves?

Sunny Wavetech: Yes, it is nice to meet you. We are employees of Sunny Wavetech, a startup company from Korea.

NJT: Are you the CEO of this company? You say it's the first invention, but can you explain why it's the first one. 

Sunny Wavetech: The products we have made have undergone various processing to adapt the televisions designed for human eyes to the eyes of dogs. So that the dog can enjoy it comfortably while watching the screen for a long time. We see that dogs can bring some psychological stability when they are away from their owners. In that respect, these technologies were applied for the first time, and now we basically have all of them, including patents.

NJT: Yes. This yellow display is the one you made, right? Can you tell me the difference between this yellow TV and regular TV?

Sunny Wavetech: If dogs watch the same content as in a human TV, they don’t enjoy it much. And the regular TV is reddish-green, so dogs can't watch it very well. However, in the case of our product, there is a special algorithm and a unique display itself. Because it is a high-end display, it may look smooth and uninterrupted. Because red-green correction is included, the colors can be seen much more vividly. So, just like we humans watch television programs with a better TV, it has a similar effect as we introduce much better TV to dogs.

NJT: Is it really the world's first?

Sunny Wavetech: It is the first one in the world!

NJT: You've probably experimented with puppies by now, but can you elaborate a bit on the reaction?

Sunny Wavetech: When watching regular television, about 30 percent of dogs are actually enjoying it. However, when we checked through this experience group, we found that the number of dogs that enjoyed the content increased more than twice by 64%. So, from our point of view, these technologies benefit dogs and we now see that we have created an environment for them to enjoy.

Ultimately, we are developing not only this hardware, but also algorithms(software) that provide the content to suit the dog's characteristics so that dogs can enjoy fully. This will be our business model.

NJT: Yes, I think non-Koreans will be very interested. Can you tell me what their reaction was?

Sunny Wavetech: Since many foreign people love puppies, they are very interested in this product. Many foreigners were surprised that such a novel technology exists.

NJT: After I talked with you, it seemed like a big hit. I hope you have good results.
