'외인구단'은 별볼일 없는 '외인'들을 모아서 훌륭한 팀으로 만들었기에 붙여진 이름이고, '왜인구단'은 "왜(지는데?)인 구단"이다. 즉, 이런 팀을 구성하고 패하는 날이 있으면 "왜인" 구단인 것이다. 다저스는 점점 더 '왜인구단'이 될 것 같다. 5일(한국기준)은 다저스가 그 별칭이 당연한 경기임을 입증한 날이었다.
